Description This is a production CD in a professional package. A jewel case contains the CD and a color booklet. The Second Circle follows the Waterdeep/100 Portraits debut of First Circle in 2001 and featured a brand new band of friends who gathered into a studio space in Colorado Springs to capture their worship in a 'one take' recording style. Ben and Robin of 100 Portraits remain the leaders of the team, and will go on to produce all of the Worship Circle recordings. Unique to this album are the sounds captured in India, on the streets, in the market, on the train, that were layered into many of the tracks. They felt it was a way to offer intercession for India every time the album was played. This album, in many ways, is a bit more introspective and meditative than the other three of the 'Circles.' Credits Recorded, Mixed, and Mastered by Ben Pasley and Rocky Presley in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Jared Hornsy: bongos, dholak, doumbek, shakers, jingles, cymbals, djembe, and Roger. Will Hunt: tabala, udu, snares, tambourine, ocean drum, chimes, green chair, cup and saucer, stainless milk steamer, Rihki swarsangam, and ambient, Indian texture programming. Ben Kennedy: vocals, guitars. Mary Luker: vocals, guitars. Ben Pasley: vocals, guitars, Rihki swarsangam, shakers. Robin Pasley: vocals, djembe, bombo goat skin, tabala, shaker, ankle bells, shaker mallet, kanjira, and Roger. Sarah Stewart: vocals, shakers. Boyd Dupree: design. Josh Wilson: photography.
Album Tracks Creation Notes We recorded the Second Circle in a home grown studio space in downtown Colorado Springs. Sarah kept baby Zane for us, and Will Hunt kept it fun. In a big circle in the big room we sang into microphones and joked with Rocky in the control room as we recorded every song in a 'live' pass, no overdubs. We cherish the memories of those days, maybe four. Important Links This album is on iTunes! Good News for the Nations, India Peace Gospel International Worship Circle Facebook Band Page
