CIRCLE SERIES | CHAIR AND MICROPHONE | VILLAGE THRIFT | 100 PORTRAITS
We now have FOUR! in the series of recordings that are all part of the Enter The Worship Circle family! The primary series includes the First, Second, Third, and Fourth Circle. The First Circle was released in 1999 with 100 Portraits and Waterdeep. This Circle Series is focused on collegiates and small groups, and is a worship collection featuring hand drums, acoustic guitars, and a passionate vocal team. The second series is called Chair and Microphone and it has Volume 1 (Ben Pasley), Volume 2 (Aaron Strumpel), and the soon to be released: Volume 3 (Karla Adolphe). It features one voice and one instrument in a very simple, vulnerable style. The third series is the Village Thrift--a fusion of modern electronic and very progressive songwriting for the urbanite and lover of all things innovative. Circa 2005 is available now, and Circa 2008 is under construction...want to participate? All three series share these fundamentals (to name the basics):
--1. We steal most of the songs from the heart of the Psalmist.
--2. We use language that is common.
--3. We try to be honest and say it like it is, not like the religious wish it was...
--4. We want you to write your own songs ..we are a launch pad, not a landing pad.

(FEATURING: BEN PASLEY)
2004
One instrument and one voice. Recorded "in one pass" this recording bleeds out the heart of Ben Pasley in conversation with God. There is compliment and complaint, loving anthem and stiff argument - it is both polite and brutal. Songs like "Crown Him" are finding a great fit in public spaces, and "Only Three" still makes Mark Weaver cry. Buy It | Learn More

| We throw in 100 Portraits albums as part of this catalog as many have come to equate Ben and Robin's creative work prior to the Enter The Worship Circle as something that also belongs here. It is alternative rock with a twist and an emphasis on discovering Christ in a world that has gone post-tradition long ago... |

2002This album is a creative remix of 100 Portraits' first album released originally in 1995. Will Hunt, Barry Patterson, Rocky Presley, and Ryan Lott contributed remixes ranging from modern rock to psychadelic-tech using only tracks from the debut album. 100 Portraits fans will enjoy the same poetry from the first album set to a whole new energy. 1997The album that really set 100 Portraits apart as an indie band in the 90's was this unique album featuring Robin's blooming skills on world percussion and Ben's unusual use of acoustic/electric guitar sounds. This album is rich with allegory of the pursuing Husband, Jesus, and a raw energy that feels like the live concerts they performed in bars and clubs... Buy It | Learn More |
